The U.S. Small Business Administration CT District Office presented the Export Loan Lender of the Year Award to Chad Stier and Frank Coppola from 44 Business Capital, Berkshire Bank’s small business lending division.
“Our role as a small business lender helps foster growth of both small businesses and the communities we serve. Small business loans are especially important during challenging economic times. Today’s award was a celebration of Frank Coppola’s hard work and dedication toward the business community of Connecticut,” stated Greg Poehlmann, SVP of Business Banking and Head of 44 Business Capital.
This award also has a special meaning for small businesses. Export loans help them bridge the gap in cash flow for imported goods until the time a small business receives payment. These loans also help with overseas suppliers and builds a small business’s credit rating.
